The waitresses and hostess were so, so sweet. I was with my aunt and her grandchildren, and her 2-yr-old great-grandson was flirting with the staff. Those ladies were so sweet with him and doted on him. It was great! And the food was delicious. The chicken salad was really good, and our little one liked the chicken strips and fries.

My first visit to this location. I had a country breakfast, complete w/country ham. Had to feed the craving. It was delicious. But, next time I'll order toast or waffle, instead of a biscuit with my meal. It was my waitress's first day there, but not her first day serving folks. So grateful for folks like her.

Atmosphere of after church eatery, wait time for a party of five, ten minutes. Ordered our food, started a conversation, and food was being brought to the table. Fast, friendly, delicious food! Steak and eggs, French toast, eggs bacon, pancakes and bacon, darn brain fart cannot remember what my other two ordered! Our family of five (three adults, two teens) cost us under $65, including tax and tip, reasonable.

Great prices and portions on down home, comfort food that is seasoned. This is like my fourth time visiting and I haven't been disappointed yet. The place is always busy with minimal wait for a table.

I really like this place. The service and food was good. They don't play their music too loud. The sanitation rating is 95.5 (A). Their buffalo wings have a bbq twang to them, very good. And the ranch is excellent.

I love Mom and Pop diners. Knife and Fork might be the best I've been to so far. The atmosphere reminds me of the interior of a train car with four rows of tables separated by a barrier with two rows on each side. The service was top notch. Very attentive and friendly. The food...oh my goodness! We ordered two of their super breakfasts (two eggs, two pancakes, sausage patty, two pieces of bacon, grits or hash browns, includes you beverage) for under $11 each. We also ordered their veggie omelette with hashbrown (or grits) for under $8! The portions of grits and hash browns were half the size of your plate and so perfectly cooked. I LOVE grits so I am picky about them and these were amazing. Not too thick...not too thin. The pancakes were wonderful. Cooked just right with a slight sweetness to them even prior to syrup (which they offer sugar free syrup, which is a huge win!). We were discussing how it was easily a better breakfast than iHop and Cracker Barrel. We can't wait to come back for dinner soon! Please check this place out!

I automatically give any breakfast place with Corned Beef Hash an extra star, but my rating would have been 4.8 anyway. If you're looking for fancy go elsewhere. This place had burned out lightbulbs in old chandoliers, water stains in the drop down ceiling panels and be careful when you sit on the benches they have no padding. HOWEVER, eggs were made perfectly to order, the basket of biscuits were amazing and the white gravy was divine. They not only had corned beef hash, but it was amazing. The coffee was surprisingly good for a diner that opened well before Mr. Starbuck started roasting his first beans in the 1970s. I dare say the best southern breakfast food in Monroe NC, and a beautiful view of Tractor Supply across the street. Well worth the visit!
